Legend Of Zelda - Ranking Every Link From Worst To Best
1. Breath Of The Wild
Perfectly mixing the cell shading of Wind Waker, and the water color visuals of Skyward Sword proved to show the best of both worlds, and with a new blue tunic, Link has never looked more original and modern than he does here.
He also is able to have a clearly defined personality without saying a word, and while every Link before had done this, they, unlike him, wasn’t constantly surrounded by fully voiced characters. On top of that, no Link has ever covered more ground, been proficient with more weapons, ingredients, or technologies than this one.
Yet with such a large arsenal and inventory, he never feels out of place, and instead like Hyrule has found a home for itself in the eighth generation. For the first time ever, we had a 3D Link that could basically go wherever, do whatever, and let us feel like we were going on an adventure all our own, with no two playthroughs being the same.
This was a Link that made the Nintendo Switch a must-have for gamers and non-gamers alike.
