Legend Of Zelda - Ranking Every Link From Worst To Best

9. Twilight Princess

Easily the most realistic Link has ever looked in a Zelda game to date, this was the design that Zelda fans have been clamoring for for years, especially those that were disappointed with Wind Waker’s cartoonish art style and felt like it didn’t fully deliver on what the GameCube was capable of.

Yes, the game has an infamously slow start, but when things pick up, they never stop, especially after Link is first turned into a wolf and thrust into the Twilight Realm. This was also the first Link we ever got to do horseback combat, and the only one to have the lovable Midna at his side as he goes between his normal and wolf forms.

Also arguably, the Link that has been put through his paces the most, being sent to the Twilight Realm, basically the Zelda version of Hell, dealing with a close friend who has lost her memories, nearly losing Midna, and many disturbing images throughout. His adventure was a good swan song for the GameCube, and a great way to introduce the world to the Wii.
