The box style remains, but there are fewer than before. After the seven you see above, there's just one large box for customisations. It's not at all overwhelming and keeps a complex game relatively simple. You'll also notice the lack of intense, booming, orchestral music. That's cool to begin with on other Madden games, but after a while it drills into your skull. Now Madden has seen the return of licensed music and it's a very welcome addition whether you're a fan of the tracks or not, at least they're different.
