Madden 21: 10 Things We Already Know

2. EA Promise Franchise Mode Updates

#FixMaddenFranchise.

That hashtag was trending on Twitter once EA leaked their 'Gridiron Notes' listing changes for the popular-yet-overlooked Franchise Mode. Fans were angry when they realised that nothing about the mode was really being upgraded from Madden 20, and they weren't shy in letting the developers know about it.

As a result, EA Executive Producer Seann Graddy released another video claiming they'd take fan criticism on board and add to the mode. He also said EA were "committed" to providing updates that'd ease concerns that Franchise was being left in the Madden dust yet again.

One thing Graddy didn't do was reveal exactly when those updates would be forthcoming, or if it was far too late in the day to burn them on-disc before 21's imminent release. There's a solid chance any updates that do happen will be patched in post-launch.
