Madden 21 Wishlist: 10 Things We Want To See

8. Player Faces At Launch

Surely EA know that drip-feeding out real player faces after launch is incredibly lazy. It's unacceptably poor for such a big production; when players buy what is effectively NFL: The Video Game, they expect the sport's biggest stars to look like their on-field counterparts from TV.

What they don't expect is to see a bunch of waxy-looking cosplayers staring back at them.

This is less forgivable for main position guys like QBs, WRs and other stars of the game. Also, would it be too much to ask that EA do a better job of using the creation suite on guys they haven't had the time to face scan before release? Honestly, it's like someone who'd never watched one snap made half these guys.

Madden is a multi-million dollar product every summer, and it deserves to be soaked in attention to detail, quality across the board and authentic, true-to-life experiences. Immersion is hard when Giants' Daniel Jones looks like he should be passing out Gatorade on the bench.
