This is an extension on that previous point. If you need an example, here's one; how many times have you repeated the same play over and over in Madden against AI opponents? It's probably a lot, right? That's because it's totally possible to run the same two-three plays on most downs without punishment.

Real NFL teams don't act like that.

Madden 23 should have some sort of algorithm built in that means CPU coaches/teams respond to repetition in a realistic way. Any self-respecting defensive coordinator would get the bullet if they let rivals hit the same corner route five times in a row during the same drive without tweaking their d-line at all.

Of course, there's a catch here. EA shouldn't make it impossible to run the same plays several times per game. If you want to use that touchdown-scoring pass play in the first quarter and deep in the third, go for it. Real, organic football is what players yearn for.
