7. Tony Romo On Commentary

Admittedly, this is a selfish one.

Anyone who has played Madden for years will understand though. Hearing Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis drone their way through commentary is old now - they even sound bored themselves nowadays. EA either needs to give them some fresh dialogue, or get someone like Tony Romo in there to predict everything before you do it.

The ex-Cowboys QB and Jim Nantz would be a neat addition to the presentation suite in Madden 23. If EA can't be bothered to have them record thousands of lines, then pop them in for the Playoffs during Franchise Mode. Also, just to be greedy, get Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth in for Sunday Night Football too.

This surely isn't too much to ask. Each NFL commentary team has its own broadcast style that comes to the fore deeper into the season, but that's lost in Madden when Gaudin and Davis are saying the same sh*t they were in week one.
