Mario Kart 9: 10 Gameplay Features Fans Demand

This is another perfectly simple request. Samus, Pikachu, Kirby, Captain Falcon, Fox McCloud and company are just a few examples of the fact that Nintendo has one of the most impressive character rosters in the world.

Mario Kart 8 already incorporated Link, the Squidlings, as well as Animal Crossing's Villager and Isabelle. They just need to expand on this and open up to characters outside of Mario's universe.

Then you have an excuse to sell DLC at regular intervals, just like Smash. That in turn would open up the possibility of new themed tracks which were already explored with Hyrule, Animal Crossing, and F-Zero. Why stop there? You could have Pokemon themed tracks, Star Fox, Metroid, the list goes on, and would ensure a greater amount of variety.

If they really wanted to take a leaf from Smash Ultimate's play book, then each character could have their own special move to give them the edge, but that might be too much tampering.

In any case, let Kirby be a boy racer!
