4. Use Your Finger To Clear Ink Splats

Arguably Mario Kart's most useless power-up once you have even a passing knowledge of that game's course set, getting inked in every Mario Kart just means an obstruction of your view for 10 or so seconds.

In MK Tour though, Nintendo have implemented the pretty neat idea of letting you actually wipe away the ink using your finger.

It does mean that by tapping the screen you'll end up using a power-up or drifting, but you can actively wipe away the middle of the screen or an area you want to free up, before waiting for the rest to clear.
