Marvel's Avengers: Every Brand New Story And Gameplay Detail JUST Revealed

The customisation available in Marvel's Avengers is extensive. Crystal Dynamics were keen to point out that, due to the customisation options, the Thor you see in the gameplay footage may play completely different to Thor at the hands of a player. Almost everything about your favourite hero can be customised, from different skillsets to a number of alternative outfits.

Players are able to customise their combat styles by spending their skill points on different moves and abilities. Customisable loadouts are also available, allowing you to use the gear you have collected through the missions. Unlike character skills, the gear menu gives the chance to mix and match different powers that your character wouldn't normally have.

As an example, they went back to some earlier footage, showing Iron Man with green repulsor beams instead of the usual red. They had equipped the repulsor with a gamma upgrade, allowing Stark to incorporate gamma radiation into his weaponry.

And of course, there are the mammoth number of outfits that will become available. Each hero will have a large range of costumes, both new and classic.
