Marvel's The Avengers Game: 10 Things You Need To Know
8. Black Widow Has Lots Of Tech
The Family Guy gag where Black Widow claims her superpower is kicking is harsh, but it’s not far off the truth. Because at first, this might seem like a bit of a strange point, but when you think about balancing gameplay, it’s actually an important detail.
Black Widow is an expert marksman and hand to hand combatant, but hardly level with Hulk or Thor for power.
The game isn’t an Overwatch-style shooter where each character needs to be perfectly matched, but it doesn’t do to have a dud either.
If the game forces you to play certain missions as certain characters, Black Widow needs to have something about her. Canonically, it would probably be best to have character specific missions to dive into their story too.
Going back to Spider-Man for the last time (swear it), no one wants a repeat of those MJ stealth missions with Black Widow.
Thankfully, the trailer showed her with a bit more of her Age Of Ultron style, seeming to have wrist blasters and jets on her ankles. The twin electric baton will likely make a return too, and perhaps some motorcycle sequences too.
