Mass Effect: 10 Most Fan-Pleasing Moments In The Trilogy

6. The All-Races Unite Space Battle (ME 3)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLlAObjR-gs If there was one major set-piece we wanted from Mass Effect 3, it was getting to see and feel the scope of what uniting the galaxy's races and military forces would look like. Even if you desperately wanted the Normandy to have a greater role in the fight like it did back at the close of ME 1, the opening barrage of a few thousand missiles and energy weapons that emanates from the fleet and starts breaking apart the Reapers still looks amazing. Bioware really nailed the sense of scale in this battle too, the slow motion-style movement of such hulking Reaper ships makes the whole thing feel insanely epic and pretty jaw-dropping, especially considering everyone's uniting for the fate of the galaxy. Although the tri-colour ending will never be wholly accepted, the idea that so many races were getting stuck in and doing their part just to let Shepard even get to the top of the Crucible, will always make for one hell of a finale.
