Mass Effect 2: 10 Cut Characters You Never Knew About
7. The Geth Frankenstein
Initially, Legion's design would have been more of a Frankenstein of different personalities and parts. Therefore, Legion's identity would be determined by the player and the memory cores they would collect. The idea is hinted at in Mass Effect 2 with the 1183 programs that makeup up Legion's personality.
Similar to how the Player influenced Garrus's morality in the original Mass Effect, Legion's identity would evolve throughout the events of the game and player choices.
The document mentions memory cores which might hint that these cores were have been extracted from Legion before the game, or are memories from other dead Geth.
As loveable as Legion is, the possibility to influence and craft a Geth would have been an enthralling aspect of the series.
