Mass Effect 2: 10 Cut Characters You Never Knew About

With only the general concept of the character revealed, the team at Bioware hadn't decided on the species or the gender of the Fallen Paragon. A once high-ranking doctor within their respective military, they left due to a prior unknown conflict.

This character would be found in a "hive of scum and villainy", most likely drinking their sorrows away. Shepard could persuade the doctor to follow a paragon or renegade path, either righting a wrong to taking revenge against the person that wronged them.

The Fallen Paragon sounds very similar to Garrus in the original Mass Effect and his side mission with Doctor Heart. The character could have been cut from the sequel, so they did not repeat themselves so soon.

However, it would have been interesting to get another medical perspective, but Dr Chakwas is the only doctor the Normandy crew needs.
