Mass Effect 4: 10 Killer E3 Announcements BioWare Must Make

2. Return Of Classic Crew Members

The Mass Effect trilogy was narrative-centric where the interactions you had with your beloved motley crew of shipmates were some of the most rewarding parts of the game. All this interaction means that we developed relationships and bonds with the characters, and we learn to care for them and about their intricately-woven backstories. We all have our favourite characters (though you€™re crazy if you don€™t have a soft-spot for Garrus, Liara and Grunt) and so many fans would welcome the return of these characters in the fourth game. Whether they would be available as bonafide crew or as side-characters who we'd bump into on missions, it isn€™t of vital importance €“ the sense of familiarity they would bring to a game in which we had been stripped of our beloved Commander Shepard would be essential. It€™s a big, empty, lonely galaxy out there and we need friends to fill the silence.
