Mass Effect 4: 10 Things We Want From BioWare's New Saga

7. New Threats Rising

With an new game must come an new antagonist, which was hinted in Mass Effect 3 that this uncompromising race will rise to prominence. The Yahg are an aggressive species which by their very nature feel the need to dominate, kill and control. Judging from what little is known about them, they are an incredibly intelligent species while not sacrificing strength and durability. Their four pairs of eyes are meant to give them unparalleled tracking abilities and being able to determine their prey's next move, which makes lying to them almost impossible. As we've seen with Lair of the Shadow Broker, if one Yahg manages to escape a trophy hunter and become the most dangerous information broker in the galaxy, imagine an army seeking to conquer all life. In ME3 whilst playing the Surkesh mission, we catch a glimpse of a Yahg escaping the facility. Though we don't know if he succeeded, the prospect of him escaping with data to manufacture ships of their own seems very likely. Though the Yahg may not reach the heights of danger like the Reapers, they will certainly make the Krogan Rebellions look like an annual tea party.
