2. No Loading Screens
The original Mass Effect had no loading screens, instead choosing to mask the load times with in-game solutions, such as the now notoriously long elevator rides. Many players didnt like this, so the following games fell back to using basic load screens between areas and missions. This was a shame because, regardless of how much you liked or hated those elevator rides, they were light years better at keeping you immersed in the game world. Now with the advanced technology of this new generation, along with Biowares claim of prioritizing immersion and exploration, it seems a good time to forgo using those pesky load screens in Andromeda and once again keep the player in game at all times. There is no doubt they could do it, and do it better than before. Being able to step out from your ship and onto a planet in real time would be incredibly effective and captivating; much more so than any boring load screen could ever be. Engagement and immersion should be the top priorities with games like Mass Effect, and load screens undermine that. This one basic change would make an enormous difference towards making Andromeda the best game it can be.
