Mass Effect 4: Andromeda - 10 Small Changes That Would Make A Big Difference

5. More Armour Variety

The Mass Effect series has never had a complex armour system, electing to instead keep things simple. Your Shepard could customize his/her armor, but only within a certain style and framework. This simplicity extended to the look of the cast as well, with only about two or three different outfits for each character. The minor problem with this was that it doesn€™t exactly make logical sense given the variety of settings you and your crew could explore. Having Jack running around in barely anything on a planet that is supposed to have a hostile environment breaks the sense of realism when you start to think about it. With this in mind, a welcome change in Andromeda would be to allow you and your squadmates to wear and assemble a greater variety of armor types. Instead of having only two or three outfits that characters wear at all times, they should have to alternate between attires depending on the nature of your mission. If a planet you land on is uninhabitable to all life, then all the characters should have to dress accordingly; a simple gas mask will not do. This change would not only make the game more internally consistent, but also add another layer of customization to you and your crew, which every fan of Mass Effect is for.
