Mass Effect: Andromeda - 10 Big Questions We're Asking After E3

6. Are Classes More Defined?

Perhaps it's a reach, but check the moment in the trailer where our temporary hero leaps up and does a jetpack-powered omni-tool stab - pretty slick right? One of the coolest things in ME3 was the introduction of omni-tech that had taken on physical properties, thereby turning your wrist-mounted computer into a makeshift blade whenever necessary. The problem was that you had no real idea what melee animation or effect you were being assigned to when picking your class. For some, the move in the various trailers where Shep charged up a gut-stab wasn't available to their character, and that was a real shame. For Andromeda we should either have requisite strict limits on move-sets - but flag them accordingly - or give you the option to spec your explorer down many different paths to play your class how you like.
