Touted to be "military-trained explorers" in the description, this ties directly into what we learned in November of 2015; that you'd have a Krogan teammate called Drack. Apparently this is the krogan seen in the first reveal footage from 2014, and could also be who's deploying the deadly gas grenade in the footage from the beginning of this article. Alongside, there were talks of a 'small, blonde female' character joining you, but no more information than that base description has appeared. It makes sense that your band of merry men, women and aliens is a varied troupe, as having non-human members will only aid in the various discussions around the galaxy - seeing you you vehemently try to convince everyone you're not a threat. And how could we humans cause any harm? We only entered the space-race last, caused widespread planetary destruction, wiped out multiple races and annihilated the entire galaxy by triggering an ancient mythical weapon. What could go wrong?
