5. Your Entry Into Andromeda Doesn't Go As Planned

Very few sci-fi adventures begin exactly as the characters expected them to, and it seems like the Andromeda crew are no different.

In the N7 Day cinematic trailer, the trip into Andromeda seems to hit a major obstacle from the start as the Ark Hyperion establishes contact with some sort of hostile force. Alec Ryder's chilling voiceover, quick shots of crew members falling down, mixed in with other crew members (Ryder included) getting sucked into the recesses of space, all indicating that things haven't gone exactly to plan.

There are no shots of them being attacked or anything striking their ship, so it still remains unclear how this happens. However, it does indeed indicate that the entry into Andromeda is by no means a smooth transition, but instead immediately dangerous as soon as they enter Andromeda space.

It is worth mentioning that some of those shots in the first cinematic trailer could be mixed with separate moments i.e. One takes place in the beginning, the other, further into the story. All that can be known for now is that Ryder and company learn that there may not be any Reapers in Andromeda, but that doesn't mean it's safe.
