6. Gearing Up & Bursting Out
At this point it seems foolish to think that Rockstar won't be adding more bursts and gear to multiplayer. The most recent addition was the Light Fingers gear item that arrived with the Local Justice pack. It certainly provided a great benefit for those who remain avid body looters. Rockstar clearly has slots open for planned additions, but what else can they bring to the table? Imagine a burst called Guerilla Warfare which, at level one, allows you to drop a timed mine. Then at level two, the mine becomes proximity and is live until death. Finally, level three, drops a proximity mine along with removing you from the enemy radar even when firing. What about a Burst called Insanity? Level one makes everyone on the map look exactly like Max Payne for the enemy team. Level two forces the enemy team to see flashes of Max's slain family, and hallucinations that provide false information. Level three has the enemy team seeing hallucinations of Max's fallen loved ones, and the screen turns black with red blood stains. There are many great opportunities for Rockstar to get creative with the Bursts. The team has already included many that touch on almost every gameplay dynamic in the game such as: sprinting, weapon damage, radar control, health increases, enemy sabotage, etc. Hopefully, Rockstar flexes their creativity as more DLC begins to release.
7. Feud War
Imagine if Rockstar could somehow implement a specific game mode where members of a Crew could join a lobby together, enter the Feud War playlist, and matchmaking would automatically pair your Crew against a rival Crew. The development team could even implement a way for Crews to taunt each other on a Crew homepage within the Social Club. This dynamic could fuel rivalries to an even greater degree. Perhaps, Rockstar could even implement wager matches. Your team comes out victorious during a Feud War, and for the next four play sessions anyone in the losing Crew would have to wear a Donkey mask.
