Metal Gear Solid 6: 10 Ways To Make It Work Without Kojima

1. Remake Metal Gear Solid In Full

You can argue Twin Snakes was a remake of the original PS1 game, but as mentioned earlier, Silicon Knights changed way too much when it came to the portrayal of Snake. Suddenly he was less a grizzled hero dragged out of retirement for 'one last job' and more an acrobatic superhero, dodging flying slabs of concrete and riding on missiles in thin air (yes, really).

It's hard to say how you'd do a 'proper' remake of MGS 1, but considering the demand and scuttlebutt from both fans and critics after seeing how well MGS V plays, this seems to be what people want most.

We're currently seeing the development of Final Fantasy VII's full remake, and despite the personnel and gameplay changes therein, Square Enix are doing a pretty good job at attempting the impossible. MGS 1 would certainly be easier to pull off, but would you lose the base-building mechanic in favour of the same linear story, or expand Shadow Moses into a full island with timed strikes on certain story-centric buildings to progress?

Answers in the comments, as either would be pretty incredible.

Let us know what you think Metal Gear is going to go, and which is your favourite? Can MGS live on without Kojima?
