Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain - 9 Big Questions It Should've Answered (But Didn't)

1. What Happened To Camp Omega?

One of the biggest mysteries left lingering after The Phantom Pain isn't actually from something brought up in that game, but the title's prequel, Ground Zeroes. Although a lot of the questions players had about the prison were answered in the prequel's cassette tapes, there were still a few purposefully unanswered threads that teased how the location would significantly play into MGS V proper. The relationship between Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes was given even more significance in the run up to V's release, as Kojima promised a return to Camp Omega in the new title, all the while boasting about an innovative feature involved that could only be accomplished in video games. Unfortunately, it seems that whatever idea Kojima had for incorporating the camp was scrapped at the last minute, as the location isn't re-visitable, nor is it even mentioned. Whether the content was cut or whether Kojima was simply lying to players is unclear at this point, but one thing's for sure, the final mysteries around Camp Omega and the supposed 'game-changing' feature that would tie the location to The Phantom Pain is something fans will unfortunately never be able to experience. What were your biggest questions heading in, that were never answered? Let us know in the comments!
