3. Where Are Solidus And Solid Snake?

While MGSV made a great effort to clear up the timeline of the Les Enfants Terrible project and the shady background behind it, the game still didn't really flesh out what happened to both Solidus and Solid Snake once the clones were separated. Although Kojima made a great effort to explain what was going on with Eli aka Liquid Snake, the other two clones were left suspiciously absent. While we can probably guess what happens with David (Solid Snake) between the events of The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear, the absence of Solidus only makes the character even more difficult to place in the series' timeline. Supposedly the perfect clone, The Phantom Pain doesn't give any indication of what's going on with the future president of the United States, or why his cloning project worked so well. Hell, we still have no idea why Solidus is so old compared to Solid and Liquid during the events of the second Metal Gear Solid.
