In Metroid 3: Corruption, Samus' clone, Dark Samus, possesses a number of your allies, including the armored hunter, Rundas. Once she takes hold of the soldier's body, he uses his cryonic powers to bombard you with ice-oriented attacks.

Although bosses in Metroid never make it easy for Samus to hit them, Rundas takes the biscuit. This guy zooms around the room on an icy slide, making it nearly impossible to lock onto him.
