The Metroid Fusion boss, Nightmare, was so popular with players, the biomechanical beast was brought back in Metroid: Other M.

This cyborg uses gravity-manipulating technology to slow the player down, making you an easier target. Because he uses this tech in mid-air, you need to knock Nightmare to the ground to attack him effectively.

Even though Nightmare has a pretty creative battle style, it's his appearance and manner that players remember most, since he is the most disturbing creature in the entire franchise. His baby-like cry and soggy, pulsating face makes it genuinely difficult to look at him.

Even though Metroid is known for having a haunting atmosphere, Nightmare may be the only enemy that's too scary!
