Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor - 10 Characters Who Must Cameo
9. The Blue Wizards
When Bilbo questions Gandalf as to just how many wizards that are, Gandalf mentions himself, Saruman and Radagast and also two blue unnamed wizards with no known origin. Tolkien never wrote them in any stories and they were never really mentioned again. In other words, they could be perfectly placed into the events of Shadow Of Mordor without messing around with the existing canon in the slightest. They could perhaps guide Talion on his quest, maybe as he learns to use his newly developed wraith powers. They could also serve as an interesting boss fight. With Talion being half Wraith, a case of mistaken identity could lead to a two on one battle before things are cleared up and Talion gets on his way to slaughtering more orcs. Of course, things don't have to end amenably either. What if Talion ended up killing the blue wizards after he loses control? We can see Talion grappling with his half wraith nature as a major theme in the plot and the moment he is pushed over the edge could be the moment he murders these two in a blind fury.
