Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor - 10 Characters Who Must Cameo

8. Beorn The Skinchanger

The last of the skinchangers plays a fairly important role in the Hobbit when he shelters Bilbo and his group and sends them off in the right direction, and continues to play a role most importantly later in the Battle of Five Armies. His tale comes to an end at the end of The Hobbit and fans have always presumed that he died at some point before the War of the Ring and the events of the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. That makes Shadow Of Mordor's place in the timeline perfect to include what should be his suitably tragic death. Talion is a little darker than your classic Lord Of The Rings character and Boern is similarly written as such. Comparisons between the two are easy to make and having Boern join Talion briefly on his quest for vengeance before being killed off in order to sell the threat of any of the games major antagonists would be a nice touch.
