6. Bard The Bowman

The reluctant hero from The Hobbit, the end of that tale left Bard with a sizable amount of gold with which to rebuild his battle scarred home of Laketown but Tolkien lore has it that the Master of Esgaroth absconds with a large amount of it and Bard goes after him. What if the Master tried to hide from Bard in the one place he didn't think Bard would follow him? It would be cool if at some point in the game, Talion bumped into Bard and they helped one another with their aims. Perhaps Bard offers to off a target for Talion in return for Talion helping him track down his lost loot. The precise point between The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings in which this game takes place hasn't been specified so Bard may be too old for this to happen, but if Shadows Of Mordor offers the opportunity to detail this untold story then it should.
