Monster Hunter: World - 10 Fan-Favourite Monsters Capcom Must Add

6. Lagiacrus

In the absence of any dedicated aquatic zones in Monster Hunter World, an entire type of subspecies (Leviathans) have so far been absent from the series' return to consoles, but have patience, dear Hunters. Who knows what Capcom has planned for the future.

Assuming that included in the developer's far-flung plans for DLC are entirely new areas, a seaside environment replete with ocean-dwelling human eaters wouldn't be a bad place to start, not least because it'd give the likes of Lagiacrus a new place to call home.

Not too far removed from the supposed physical likeness of our own mythical Nessie (just add horns), Lagiacrus is more memorable than most of Monster Hunter 3's bestiary, no doubt due to its command of the two elements you never want to be battling with at once.

It's all fun and games when you're trading blow with Lagiacrus in its 'docile' state, but when the gloves come off and it begins to literally gargle electricity... well, you can imagine the sorts of 'fun' that would ensue.
