Mortal Kombat 1: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best
12. Geras
With his time-manipulating Specials, cool design, and memorable finishers, Geras was hands-down the best new character in MK11. The chrono-weaving construct was such a hit, fans were excited to see him return in MK1.
Better still, this latest incarnation of Geras has more ways than ever to distort time while engaged in battle. Using Redo, the former minion of Kronika can pummel his foe before returning to his original position, which is a neat way to get out of trouble. He can split himself in two during attacks, letting him efficiently overpower and disorient his opponent.
Due to his sluggish movements, players need to be wary while playing as the artificial humanoid, especially during close encounters. Fortunately, Geras has a few ways to strike from afar, minimising the chances of being countered.
Also, his time-travel Fatality is one of the cleverest and original finishers in Mortal Kombat history.
