Mortal Kombat 11: 10 Action Hero Guest Characters We Want
7. Scott McCoy
Back in his prime, Chuck Norris was considered one of the
greatest western martial artists of all time. This claim to fame was first
shown to the world in the 1972 film Way of the Dragon, in which Norris’s
character faces off again Tang Lung, portrayed by the legendary Bruce Lee. Despite
Chuck Norris being widely regarded as a great martial artist, none of his films
are truly iconic action classics.
That being said, Norris is iconic enough of a presence to warrant inclusion in Mortal Kombat 11. Major Scott McCoy is the character portrayed by Norris in the 1986 film The Delta Force, a role which he reprised in 1990 for Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection. In the films, he is the leader of a Delta Force squad. However, he is able to maintain the spotlight throughout.
The films certainly have a wide variety of material to take
from to provide a moveset for the character. As well as using a variety of
guns, McCoy is famous for a scene in Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection in
which he faces his men in a training session one after the other. He is able to
use merely his hand to hand skills to take down each man he fights with ease.
