4. Most Special Move Grabs Will Connect To An In-Air Opponent

It might feel a bit like a bug, but Mortal Kombat's various grabs and Fatal Blows have been catching mid-air opponents for years.

Even though it makes zero sense why a horizontal, mid-air opponent would still react - and be trapped by - a move like Scorpion's hellfire grab, Jax's chain-able wrestling holds or Baraka's War Flag impale, they totally can be.

Add these to the end of your combos - when your opponent has been sent skyward - and if done fast enough, you can catch them before they trigger anything in return.
