Mortal Kombat 12: 10 Lost Characters NetherRealm MUST Include

1. Ermac

Similarly to Mileena, Ermac is definitely not a "lost character" in the traditional sense. Based on a rumor and first introduced in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Ermac became a fan favorite character and has appeared in multiple games including both Mortal Kombat 9 and Mortal Kombat X.

However, after the events of MKX, Ermac simply disappears. The only reference made to him in Mortal Kombat 11 is in the Krypt, where he is unceremoniously killed after being dropped onto one of the spikes in the pit.

Ermac's story is one of redemption and freedom. Created by Shao Kahn who used his magic to combine the souls of conquered warriors into one being, Ermac was one of Shao Kahn's most powerful enforcers, but not by his own choice. When Shao Kahn was defeated after the events of Mortal Kombat 3, Ermac was freed from his control and finally able to choose his own destiny.

Putting aside the sheer awesomeness and variety of his mystical abilities and gameplay, Ermac is a character that has deep roots in the Mortal Kombat lore, and is a worthwhile addition to any Mortal Kombat game.
