Mortal Kombat: Ranking Every Guest Character
1. Jason Vorhees
On paper, you'd imagine that Jason wouldn't be fun to use, given how slow he is. But the geniuses over at NetherRealm gifted Jason with such cool moves and abilities, that he is hands-down the best guest character ever. From the x-ray stab through the chin to the simple front kick, Jason is phenomenal to use.
Given how many incarnations of the character there are, it must have been difficult for NetherRealm to decide on which version of Jason to include. However the choice of the simple Jason from the 2009 reboot movie was the way to go.
While Jason's primary form of attack is certainly his machete, he also uses his brute force to great effect; bear hugging enemies until their spines snap, temple punches, slamming them over his knee, and choking them to death. Throw in the ability to rise from the dead with a little health, a glowing mask to heal, and more, Jason was an incredibly formidable foe.
Jason may not be the go-to character for longtime Mortal Kombat fans, and he may never appear again, but his turn in MKX was so flawlessly executed, that it warrants him the top spot on this list.
