GoldenEye is easily one of the most influential first person shooters of all time, and definitely made an impact for the Nintendo 64.

It's really a no-brainer as to why Rare's magnum opus should be included on the N64 Mini: The gameplay is iconic, multiplayer is legendary and it's easily one of the most memorable games on the whole console. It's an essential play for anyone who plays shooters and remains a fun - if occasionally frustrating - experience.

The problem with including GoldenEye would come from all of the different licenses. Nintendo would have to get permission to include the game from both Rare, who created it, Activision, who own the James Bond license, and even Warner Bros., who own the overall James Bond license.

If Nintendo could somehow manage to get all these licensing issues out of the way, including GoldenEye on the N64 Mini would make it absolutely essential.
