3. My Career Mode Lets You Build Your Own Player
http://youtu.be/mA9KoY9dSxg The My Career mode has always been a highlight of the 2K games. You can create your player at any size and shape you like while giving him a skill set that you probably wish you could have. Make him a point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward or center and do everything you can to have him make an impact in the NBA. What's cool about this year's game is they have a Mentors feature in the My Career mode. They had NBA players and coaches from every team offering up commentary that will be used as part of the Mentors feature. What it will do is show your player talking to a guy on your team, whatever your team is, and the voice will come from the actual player. That means you might get advice from a superstar like Kevin Durant or James Harden or maybe Clippers coach Doc Rivers will let you know what he expects from you. As a guy that's played this series from the beginning, the My Career mode is really the best part about it other than playing with your buddies or people online. The reason it's so fun is you can create so many different types of players. It's probably easiest to make a point guard because then the ball is in your hands all the time. If you want to make it harder, create a big guy and do everything you can to get your teammates to trust you so you can be a big part of the team. My Career mode never gets boring. You can set the difficulty level at whatever you want and create the atmosphere that makes you the most comfortable. There are so many different ways you can take it. The NBA 2K series has always done a phenomenal job with the My Career feature. Adding in Mentors will make it that much more fun because you'll really feel like you're a part of the team and you don't want to let your star teammate down.
