It's no secret that the pick and roll is overpowered in the 2K universe. In the real NBA, it can be an effective play given the correct personnel and game situation. In NBA 2K, it's a devastating tool for any team - one easy for any player to pick up and perfect. When in possession of the ball, simply press traingle/Y to call for a screen. A teammate should then set a pick behind your defender, blocking him off and allowing you to dribble into space. It's then usually best to fire a quick pass to the screening teammate, as he "rolls" away to the basket. If he doesn't have a clear lane, other options include pulling up for a jump shot, driving to the basket yourself, or simply waiting for everybody to retake their positions and trying something else. Sometimes the opposition will wise up to this tactic, and look to thwart the pick and roll with double-teams. In this case, they'll have left another of your players open elsewhere on the court. It's simply a matter of quickly rotating the ball to the open man, and taking advantage before the defense can catch up. Good luck!
