9. Change The Camera Angle
The default TV broadcast-style camera angle may look pretty and feel like an ultra-slick ESPN broadcast, but it'll have you throwing stray passes left, right and centre. Instead, go for an angle from either end of the court, as shown in the image above. This will give you a greater view of the entire floor, enabling you to see player cuts and identify defensive schemes with far greater ease. Also, make sure you turn the 'auto-flip' option on, keeping the camera behind whichever team has possession. Defending with your back to the basket may feel more realistic, but can also be incredibly restrictive. Being able to see everything behind you is much more useful.
