NBA 2K18 My GM Tips: 30 Franchise-Saving Trades You Must Make
24. Memphis Grizzlies
Players out (position, rating, contract length/value, age):
Chandler Parsons SF 74 3 yrs/$72.3M 28, Jarell Martin PF 72 1yr/$1.47M 23
Players in:
Kenneth Faried PF 78 2 yrs/$26.69M 27, Darrell Arthur 73 1 yr/$7.46M 29
Why it makes sense:
Chandler Parsons' deal is really bad, especially since the player isn't much of a contributor anyway. In contrast, the starting small forward Tyreke Evans is rated at 77 and is about to make only $3.29M for the season.
The Grizzlies are also short on power forwards and Denver's benchwarmer Darrell Arthur is already an upgrade on this position. Faried, who's bound to be the sixth man for the Nuggets, is an athletic and explosive player, who's not really much of a shooter, but makes up for his shooting deficiencies with rebounding.
