Like the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Orlando Magic have had quite then number of NBA legends pass through their ranks over the years. Dwight Howard, Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway, and, most notably, Shaquille O'Neal have all played for the Magic since the team was created in 1989.

Additionally, the squad has made it to the playoffs on fifteen separate occasions, and played in the finals twice, both of which they lost. In saying this, you might be wondering to yourself why the Magic are this low down on the list if they've been such a successful squad.

Well, the success didn't last once Dwight Howard went out with a herniated disk in his back, and then left for the Los Angeles Lakers, remaining the team's all-time leading scorer, shot blocker, and rebounder in the process.

While the last two seasons did see them make the playoffs for the first time in six years, the magic still hasn't returned for the team (pun very much intended). It's unlikely they'll ever reach the success they achieved when they had Howard and Shaq on their squad, however, that's not to say they can't still be a formidable team. They've still got a solid team regardless.
