The story of the Miami Heat is a bit of an enticing one, as the squad have gone up and down over the years. Hosting Shaquille O'Neal, LeBron James, Alonzo Mourning, and Dwayne Wade, amongst others, throughout their tenure, the Heat also hold the record for the NBA's third-longest winning streak during the 2012/13 season at 27 wins.
It's worth mentioning that the team most likely would have been rated a bit higher on this list, had their overall rating taken into account their performance throughout the recent playoffs. A huge upset over the Milwaukee Bucks was a massive shock for fans of the Heat, and while they lost the finals to the Los Angeles Lakers, they still came away looking strong. Jimmy Butler, in particular, has been a huge reason for their recent successes.
You'd have to imagine they'll be rated far higher by the time we get to NBA 2K22 next year, particularly if they're able to continue on this impressive streak. They don't necessarily need to make any major changes to their roster with the upcoming draft on 20 November, however, it could boost their success even more than it already has been.
