3. MyTEAM: Draft Makes Its Return
MyTEAM has been a pivotal part of the NBA 2K series since its introduction in 2012's NBA 2K13, with YouTubers using it as a way of driving millions of views to their channels every year. In NBA 2K22, this will be no different, as the MyTEAM: Draft makes its return.
The mode has been requested to make its return, with developers finally giving in. This will see you choosing a lineup from an ever-changing lineup of players, who you can then compete with in online multiplayer games to earn bonuses.
This news not only comes as a surprise to players, but also a welcomed bonus. As enjoyable as MyTEAM can be, it's often difficult to properly get into it unless you're a diehard fan of that mechanic. With this new (well, old) mode added, that stigma should be removed for 2K22's MyTEAM mode.
Other noted aspects of the mode include an undisclosed original game mode debuting this Christmas season, new challenges, rewards, and events making every season fresh, and, as last year, MyTEAM progress will be transferable between last-gen and next-gen console families.
Much like the improved gameplay changes, expect more news pertaining to MyTEAM to drop the week of 30 August.
