4. Mamba Moments Replaces The Jordan Challenge
NBA 2K23 offered something new outside of the series staples with the Jordan Challenge, a remodeled mode from NBA 2K11 that let players relive the greatest moments of Michael Jordan's legendary career, from his first iconic shot in the 1982 college championship game up to game six between Utah Jazz and Jordan's Chicago Bulls from the 1998 NBA Finals.
The mode was fun and fresh above all else. NBA 2K needed that extra dash of content to up its appeal and they found it with this - so they're keeping it.
Renamed Mamba Moments in NBA 2K24, the mode will now serve to relive the career of Kobe Bryant. Featuring fifteen of his classic games, players will be tasked with repeating 'Black Mamba's' success across each of them, whether that's scoring his exact amount of points, blocks, or rebounds, or holding other players back from making their own baskets.
Again, the leaks are out there if you wish to see a sprinkling of which games will reportedly make up the mode, but these must be taken with an ounce of salt.
