Netflix's Castlevania Season 2: 10 Things That Must Happen
8. More Demons And Monsters
In spite of its short runtime, season one of Castlevania certainly managed to deliver on one of the things that makes the series so great: the monsters. This series is filled to the brim with mythical beasts and thus far in the show, we've been treated to an epic battle against a cyclops, Dracula's horde of demons running amok in Wallachia, not to mention Dracula himself, as well as his son, Alucard.
However, a longer second season provides a perfect opportunity for the Netflix series to seriously expand its own bestiary and there is plenty of source material to choose from. Castlevania III alone is chock full of potential foes for our heroes to take on in their second go. Zombies, fishmen, flying gargoyles, and Medusa heads all immediately come to mind.
Plus, on the boss side of things, there's definitely room for such classics as the skull knight, the snake man sentinel, the water dragons, in addition to the aforementioned demon form of Grant Danasty.
In short, a longer season will give us the opportunity to see the true extend and power of Dracula's unholy army, especially considering that season two will likely take us into Dracula's castle itself.
