Nintendo Switch: 10 Awesome Games With Overdue Sequels
7. Rayman Legends
Rayman may not be a Nintendo exclusive any more, but back when Rayman Legends was in development, it was initially going to be tied to the Wii U.
As you know, Legends went multi-platform. After the game was announced for PS3 and Xbox 360, the Wii U version was also delayed to allow for a simultaneous release in September 2013.
Fans weren't happy.
Regardless, Rayman Legends released in September 2013, and was exceptional. You could genuinely make an argument for it being the best platform game ever made, especially because it contained all of Rayman Origins alongside the new stuff.
Everything from quirky characters and a unique art style to perfected gameplay and mesmerising music levels, Rayman Legends is gaming bliss.
Sadly, both it and Origins failed to set the world on fire in regards to sales. Ubisoft stated that Legends didn't meet sales expectations and the series hasn't been heard of since 2013, but similarly to the Trials series, a new title isn't impossible, and making it a true Nintendo exclusive could be what the franchise needs.
