Nintendo Switch: 10 Awesome Games With Overdue Sequels

3. Pokémon Let's Go

Pokemon Let's Go: Pikachu & Eevee were nice, albeit flawed, additions to the Pokemon legacy. It took the original Red & Blue adventure, tweaked the formula in good and bad ways, and gave it a fresh lick of paint.

Well, the Pokemon fanbase would kill for a sequel to those games that remakes the second generation; Gold and Silver. Most Pokemon die-hard fans would agree that Gold, Silver, & Crystal were better games than the original trio, and we'd love an excuse to dive back into the Johto Region.

The only downside to this would probably be the return of the Pokemon Go battle system, which unnecessarily dumbed the series down. Pokemon has always been a child's-first RPG and for twenty years it was never said to be too hard, so bring back the original battling system and give Johto that same lovely art style.

A whole slew of gamers would get to experience Totodile, Cyndaquil, and Chikorita for the first time, and realise that Pokemon was great beyond that first generation. Gold, Silver, & Crystal introduced lots of new Pokemon, a day/night system, a radio, phone calls, and a proper city that would look jaw-dropping in a remake.
