Nintendo Switch: 10 Harsh Truths Nobody Wants To Admit
7. Based On The Price, The Hardware Probably Isn't That Good
Of course, hardware being good is completely relative, but what I mean is that the Switch won't have hardware comparable to that of the Xbox One or the PS4.
This has been made fairly clear recently given the leaked cost of the console. UK retailer GameSeek has begun accepting pre-orders for the console at just shy of two-hundred pounds, the key thing being that even if the price goes up, you'll still only pay the initial two-hundred pounds.
There's no way a company would risk losing an enormous amount of money based on guesswork, so they're clearly privy to pricing information.
Combine this with the fact Nintendo recently stated the system would not be sold at a loss and it's obvious that the Nintendo Switch won't be rocking hardware comparable to the Xbox One or PS4. Rather, it'll be more of an upgraded Wii U.
