Nintendo Switch: 10 Obvious Flaws That Need Fixing

3. A Better Dock

From one silly design flaw right onto another. What genius thought the Nintendo Switch's dock - something that, by design, will constantly interact with the removable Switch (which is 95% easily scratchable screen) - shouldn't have some kind of felt or cloth material lining its insides?

The average Switch user is probably picking only one mode 90% of the time, either docked or undocked. But that doesn't mean you're never gonna interact with the dock even if you charge it using a plug or keep it hidden away in a case most of the time.

If you wanna change a game, it's much easier to remove the Switch from its dock instead of fiddling around trying to get the game out while its still connected. If you wanna properly power the console down instead of putting it into sleep mode, you have to remove the Switch and do it manually.

Unless you put an ugly looking screen protector on your Switch or even attach a piece of cloth to the dock yourself, you will scratch your Switch to hell and back even if you're as careful as humanly possible.
